Its Hubbies Birthday today, so we have had a much needed and rare day together. Happy Birthday Jay xxx
This photo was taken in New Engand, one of my fav places in the world.
Sometimes, we are just so busy, both working for ourselves. Two children to run to numerous clubs, sports matches, etc and piles of paperwork every evening.
We had a whirlwind romance. Having met fleetingly only three times before he came round for a cuppa and never went home. 9 weeks later he proposed and within the same year we were married with a beautiful sunset behind us on the beach in Barbados.
I suppose we still learn about each other every day. He is still learning that I hate tomatoes and that I cant stand the smell of sausages. I have to get used to the fact he does not understand my sarcastic sense of humour and it can cause many an argument, whilst my son and I snigger away at something he does not really get.
We are very different, he likes to blast me out with loud rock music, whilst I love peace and quiet. I like to watch films at a level where it does not hurt my ears, where as he likes to make the windows vibrate with volume full on. He loves sensible Volvo's, I love big huge american convertibles. He drives so slow we get overtaken by the milk float. I always wanted to be a rally driver. He loves to keep fit and I have never seen the inside of a gym. But it works and lifes a blast. I am very lucky and I am thankful for every second we have together.
So Happy Birthday to my bestest friend ever from Pants x
