Nearly there

Whoooopppeeeeeee!!!! Nearly at my 100 sales.  It was only a couple of months ago that I really started to take notice and follow peoples advice on promotion.  I never expected to have such a great response and remember just back in November saying to my hubby how proud I will be when I reach 30 sales.

It just goes to show hard work really pays off.

Snow Snow Snow

It has looked lovely the last few days from our window. The snow is laying on the ground and covering the trees. Hubby and I were crunching around the garden in dressing gowns and wellies this morning trying to get some pictures of the snow. Never looks quite the same on camera.

The birds are looking hungry and cold. The squirrel fights for every bit of food on the bird table. It seems a full time job in itself just to keep them all fed and watered.

Its lovely to be cuddled up in the warm, sewing. Now the house is nice and quiet again (kids back at school) I will be busy making again. I have missed my time at the craft table.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I have been so busy (and so poorly) over christmas that I just havent had time to think about blogging and I am shocked its been so long since my last post. New years resolution - keep up the blogging.

colour inspiration

I received this lovely necklace from Planet Button Designs, Folksy Shop, http://www.folksy.com/shops/planetbuttondesigns the other day.

I was blown away by it.

Obviously, it was meant for a christmas present but it ended up in my drawer, just cant part with it.

Anyway I am not too good with colours, I sometimes struggle to put things together.

But I was so inspired with the lovely colours on this necklace that I wanted to share it with you.
