A Poem

My lovely 12yr old wrote me this lovely poem on Mother's Day.  I thought I would share it with you.

The Tree of Hearts

After wisdom, the creation of life
All was lost and love was gone
Hearts had fallen and hope was low
No man had given all they had
So what happened to life?

A seed of love had fallen down
A soul of life blinded with wisdom
No other thing could truly be
But then again, why would they be
So what happened to love?

After this seed has blossomed
A creation began to grow
Nothing had ever happened
A ebony soul was banished
It was to be, a Tree of Hearts
A Daughter of Nature, Mother Nature.
